I would like to hold a minute of silence for those who died in the rebellion or the games. As you are silent, you may wish to scroll through a few memorials I wrote here. (This post is about 'The Hunger Games') Caution: may contain spoilers.
Rue
Rue was just 12 when she died. She was brave and resourceful. She was the reason the rebellion happened. Because of her, Katniss swore revenge on the Capitol. Goodbye Rue.
Prim
Prim was around 13 when she died. She was caring and kind. She died as she lived: helping the innocent. Because of her, the war ended. Goodbye Prim.
Finnick
Finnick was a young man when he died. He was determined and daring. He left behind his pregnant wife to fight for freedom. Because of him, the others escaped. Goodbye Finnick.
District 12.
Most of District 12 was destroyed by fire bombs. Many lost their lives. Among the dead were Marge Undersee and Peeta's family. Because of them, the rebellion was given new strength. Goodbye District 12.
Many more lost their lives. We will remember them. And this didn't just happen in a fictional world. This happens in the real world. Today, people will be lost to war and we will remember them.
