Best Bits.

Hey guys, its ya girl Nebulae here! I thought I'd take some time to explain my favourite things about all my fandoms because they all mean so much to me and I don't talk about some of them very often.

Divergent:

Okay, personally, I prefer the first book in this series. That's because I love the initiation. I'd have preferred if the whole thing was just about the factions and initiations and Tris hiding her Divergence because that was my favourite part. It was something people could relate to (kind of) since it was like trying to get into a new school or college.

Nevermoor:

For me, the best parts of Nevermoor are the parts where we discover more secrets and magic in the city. The wunnimals, the ghastly market, the hotel, the Wunder Society's rules and teachers and leaders and members. The Christmas celebration was a personal favourite of mine.

Harry Potter:

This series was my fandom before I knew what a fandom was. It was probably the series that made me keep reading until now. Before HP, I enjoyed reading, but these books just made reading so magical and sucked me through the pages. (A small note on the J.K. Rowling Twitter post controversy: Our team in no way supports Transphobia. We simply adore J.k Rowling's world and don't want to abandon it over its author.)

Looking For Alaska:

Honestly, I didn't love this book because of its romance. It was more the pranks and rule-breaking and sneaking out and good friends and remembering someone you lost. They were the best bits, hands down.

Hunger Games:

First, I've got to get something out of the way: THIS BOOK IS NOT ABOUT A LOVE TRIANGLE. The best bit in this series was the first games. I fell in love with the characters, especially Rue. I cried for an hour when Rue died. It also just felt so REAL. (Yes, that was a Mockingjay reference)

Riordanverse (Main Fandom):

I considered doing one for every series, but I realised that it all boiled down to one thing, and it isn't the ships or the plot or the wars, its just the people. In most books, Percy would be the side character who makes sarcastic comments. In most books, Hazel would be shoved aside as a smol bean and only come in to play when they made a bad joke about their innocence. In most books, Sadie wouldn't have a personality outside of Carter's annoying younger sibling. In most books, Sam would be shoved in for representation's sake. Rick took moulds, then threw them out the window. That's what made his books different. I could look at any character and see myself in a tiny part of them.

That's all for now, so have a good day!
