Thank you. You may be the most insane, crazy, ridiculous thing I've ever been a part of, but that's why I love you.
We all have that crazy enthusiasm that drags you into a fandom in there somewhere but most people hide it deep down. But they've still found themselves being overly enthusiastic about a TV show or a movie or a book. They still jump out of there seats with excitement. And they still just HURT sometimes from a story. Sometime, somewhere, everyone has.
At first, its just enthusiasm that makes you part of a fandom but you slowly realise that you've found a home. You don't hide, you let it all out, you laugh cry scream dance and shout. No-one is telling you to tone it down. Because in fandoms, we ask for even more crazy. No-ones going to outcast you for being yourself. No-ones telling you to obey social rules. Because a lot of the time, people in fandoms have been that person tucked in a corner, trying to disappear.
But then, you join the fandoms. And you find people who have gone through that too. And you make friends. In fandoms, I met Snow and so many of my other friends. So, us outcasts banded together, and we made our own social rules. And that was that there aren't any.
So, thank you fandoms. For excepting me when no one else would. And for being crazy enough to exist.
