Rick's Announcement

As some of you may be aware, Rick Riordan has been saying that he was going to post a special announcement on Twitter. Last night, he did and the fans are going crazy. Because guess what? Percy Jackson is getting a TV show. (Okay, I can't pretend to be serious any longer. It's 8:40 am, and I literally just found out)

I am so excited!!! I hate the movies with a burning passion, and now, we have the series! It's coming on Disney+ but will probably be released onto other platforms soon! I can't wait to watch Percy, Annabeth and Grover grow up before our eyes! To explain what I'm hoping this TV show will be, here is a Tumblr post I found on Pinterest which describes it perfectly:
